KBB Monthly Cleanups

It’s easy to join KBB clean-ups that are held every month in various locations around Bermuda. Simply go to the list of scheduled clean-ups and sign up on the KBB website.

School Trash-a-thons

This is a great way for School PTAs to raise funds by doing an annual “Trash-a-thon”. KBB can help you organize this and provide a sample “pledge sheet” to use.

Sports Trash-a-thons

KBB has assisted many sports teams, dance groups and other community groups in holding a fund-raising “trash-a-thon” to raise money for trips or uniforms. KBB can help you organize this and provide a sample “pledge sheet” to use.

Neighbourhood Cleanups

If you are interested in holding a cleanup in your neighbourhood or with your Neighbourhood Watch group, KBB can help you organize this.

Marine Debris Beach Surveys

KBB is partnering with many other environmental organizations in Bermuda to survey and tally the amount of marine debris that is washing up on our beaches, and from this develop local initiatives. This research work is appropriate for students at all age levels.

KBB’s Artful Bins Painting

This is a colourful and creative way to provide waste bins for school campuses, playgrounds and sports fields. We use bins that are initially brought to Bermuda carrying water treatment chemicals and then we “re-use” them as waste bins. Students (and adults) get to showcase their creativity by hand-decorating/ painting the bins. This is the perfect project if you need waste bins on school campus, playground or sports field.

The KBB Afterschool Hour

Particularly designed for students who need to do a weekly commitment of service, students can come to the KBB Office every Friday from 4-5 pm to work on KBB projects in the office or in the N.E. Hamilton area where KBB’s office is locations.
