Annual Island-wide EARTH DAY Clean Up

Date: April 20, 2019
Time: 9am - 12noon

This is an annual event that KBB has been doing for the past 50 years. We expect a huge turnout this year with neighbourhoods, schools, community and sports groups signing up for this event.

Details: Volunteer to clean up a roadside, park, public dock or beach for EARTH DAY which is the largest civic-focused day of action in the world. Since 1970, Earth Day has been celebrated around the world as a day of political action and civic participation. People plant trees, clean up their towns, march and sign petitions. Governments use this day to make pledges and announce sustainability measures to protect nature and the planet we all live on. Earth Day is always on April 22, but in Bermuda we will be celebrating a few days early.

Grab your team and choose a location. Register with KBB.

Rain Date policy
In the event of rain, and if it has been raining up until 8:00 am on the morning of a KBB cleanup, the bushes and terrain will be too wet and muddy for a successful cleanup. In this case, the cleanup will be postponed to the scheduled rain date which is usually the following day.
